Medicolegal

I prepare medicolegal reports at the request of independent solicitors, NHS Resolution (formerly the NHS Litigation Authority), and the medical defence societies.

My aim is to complete reports within 2-3 months of receiving all documentation. I take on only those cases pertinent to my particular specialty in paediatric respiratory medicine. My fees are £230 per hour.

In the last 2 years my work has been divided as 70% claimant / 30% defendant. I have extensive experience of attending meetings with other experts and counsel, including teleconferences. I have also attended Court and HM Coroner's Court, although obviously less often as almost all cases have settled or not proceeded.

I have attended a variety of courses including professional report writing and conduct as an expert witness in court, and am in the Law Society Directory of Expert Witnesses.

I am an accredited Mediator, having trained at the London School of Mediation.
